1. Data We Collect
We collect your name, email address, phone number, and farm location to personalise your experience. Crop scan images are processed locally and results stored in your private Firestore database. Weather data is fetched using your device GPS coordinates and never stored with personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide AI-powered farming insights, weather intelligence, and personalised recommendations. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore & Firebase Auth) with strict per-user security rules. Only you can read or write your own data. Firebase complies with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Google Firebase (auth & database), Open-Meteo (weather data — no personal data sent), IP-API (approximate region detection — anonymous), Nominatim/OpenStreetMap (reverse geocoding — anonymous).
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@smartfarm.app. We will process your request within 30 days.

1. Acceptance
By using Smart Farming, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Permitted Use
Smart Farming is intended for personal and small-farm agricultural use. You may not use the app for commercial resale, data scraping, or any unlawful purpose.
3. AI Recommendations
AI-generated crop recommendations and disease diagnoses are advisory only. Always consult a qualified agronomist before making significant decisions about pesticide use, irrigation, or harvesting. We are not liable for crop losses resulting from following AI advice.
4. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@smartfarm.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
5. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party API outages (weather, AI), or force-majeure events may cause temporary unavailability.
6. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile settings.
